Server logs

When you open this page, the web server (nginx) automatically stores: IP address, date and time, requested address, HTTP status, transferred bytes, referrer and user agent.

This is used solely to run the site securely and to debug errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not analysed for other purposes or combined with other data.

Access logs are rotated weekly and deleted after five weeks at most, error logs after eleven weeks at most.

No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics tools.

The font (JetBrains Mono) is hosted on this server. No third-party content is loaded with the page. The homelab status also comes from this server.

Links to GitHub and LinkedIn are plain links. Only when you click them do the respective providers’ privacy policies apply.

Contact by email

If you write to me, I only use your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). An informal email is enough.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).
