Hey, I'm Mikey 👋

I'm a frontend developer at Open-Xchange. Here you can find recent blogposts to literally anything and some socials.

After so many months of wondering I finally decided to make a website. Not only for portfolio purposes but also to write blogposts about things I like or which matter to me.

So, > whoami? Michael Kainz, mostly known as Mikey. I'm a junior developer for Open-Xchange in the frontend team where we design the OX App Suite for mail, calendar and contacts. Before I came to OX I was getting my Masters Degree in IT and a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. This is why my projects are widely spread, doesn't matter if web, arduinos or something in between.

So inspired by WWSIV I wanted to deploy my stuff at my own page. I love hosting my own services via Docker. Everything you create should be under your control and independent from Big Tech. This means this website features a blog about anything I want to post about. There eventually will be categories and a search soon(tm).
